ABOUT
GERRY
Gerry Klein has
lived in Southbury for close to 30 years. He is a 1975 graduate
of New York University School of Law. After spending most of
his career in the legal department of Union Carbide in Danbury,
Gerry is now a Contract Engagement Advisor (i.e., contracts and
negotiations specialist) at IBM. Gerry is finishing his 4th
year on the Board of Finance and was elected Vice Chair by his
colleagues earlier this year. Gerry is also the chairman of the
Southbury Pension Investment Advisory Committee, which helps
decide on investment decisions regarding Southbury’s pension
fund. Gerry’s wife Peggy is a speech pathologist at Middlebury
Elementary School. They have 3 grown daughters, all of whom
were well-educated in the Region 15 school system and then
continued their education in private universities in New
England; one at Brown and two at Boston University. |
